Gardening Update #1

We suck at gardening. We're on our third round of starts cuz everything else had died. I'm not taking it personally any more. But in the spirit of "when all else fails, read the directions" we are now reading the directions. We've been researching gardening in the Pacific Northwest and it appears that there's a whoe slew of things we've done wrong. Take your pick from: wrong soil treatment, improper soil temperatures, ph too high, ph too low, shocking the starts by transferring from inside to outside to quickly, cold nights/wet days...you name it. We have two crops that seem to have defied our brown thumbs: peas and radishes. Stay tuned for my new Pea and Radish Salad recipe coming soon!
