Here's some pictures of our garden and our favorite garden helper:
The whole entire garden...
The corn is taller than the Bug - even when she stretches!
The prickly tomatoes are trying to hug me!
She's so silly that it took about a dozen tries to get this picture - hold still! smile! no, not that weird smile thing that you do, a NORMAL smile! Those are our beans behind here and summer squash and zucchini behind the beans.
Here's a closer shot of our potatoes, spinach (which has gone to seed), the pumpkins in the back, beets on the right, and cucumbers on the lower left.
The potatoes are crowding out, well, everything! Apparently they like what we're doing for them. We planted yukon golds and some purple potato variety. We'll see what actually 'sprouts'! So below, is the backside of the potatoes, our lettuce, carrots and onions.
Lastly, another shot of the potatoes (they're kinda hard to miss, actually). They are the bushy stuff along the back of this picture. In the fore-ground right side are our cucumbers (slow to get going but we keep encouraging them) and to the left side are the peas (getting overrun by the potatoes), more onion and our peppers. If you look closely, you'll see our jalapeno that is turning red!
Let us know how your garden is doing this year!
