Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow! Everything tasted SO good this year! My only regret is that we couldn't celebrate with each and every one of you this year. Lots of good fun and good food, but I do want to take a moment to brag about my gravy. Yum! Thank you Alton Brown for showing me how to make the best (seriously THE BEST!) gravy and taking the fear out of it. Now when it's gravy-time, I just say, "Bring it on!"

Didn't get nearly enough pictures - too busy talking, I suppose! But here's my favorite little helper. Can anyone guess what she's making? It involves jello, mayonnaise and a double boiler...you guessed it! Ribbon jello! We shook things up a bit and used red, yellow and orange jello for a more autumn feel instead of the usual red, yellow and green.

And a couple of pictures for my friend Katie in Italy. Our teeny, tiny 21 pound turkey:

And my apple pie. She may not look that great, but don't let that fool you. Butch was ready for me to make another one today!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
